The month of Craziness

So... July has been.. well... its gone by fast! Here is a recap
Daniel and I celebrated our 6th anniversary and went to the beach for a few days. (I don't post or blog about my adventures until after I get back from them. I am just weird about people knowing that my house is vacant) We tried out a new restaurant and loved it. I took a lot of long walks on the beach without shoes instead of runs and in turn got a blister the size of a half dollar on my foot. It has been so hot this month. Like record breaking temps. Note, that is why there were walks instead of runs. I HATE running in the heat.
I remembered how much I hate running in the heat when I ran a 5k on July 4th. I thankfully found an icepack after the race and had it on my head and neck until I cooled down. I also wore my super fancy capri pants that look like I came out of 1982.
This past week we have had the log company come by and "fix" our home. When you have a log home, heck, when you have any home, there are always repairs. So we have about 50ft of log rot that has to be removed and replaced. We also have had the whole front porch jacked up and the logs ripped from there and new wood replaced. On top of all of this, we are having the home chinked, stained, bug repelled, and sealed. The cats were freaked out yesterday by all of this but today, they were better.
Also this past week, I have been moved to another community. With that being said, I have had the most challenging weekend at work. I now have 12 new people to handle on a daily basis, along with my 8. These are just people who are under contract. I also have all my normal responsibilities to handle. I finally feel like I have things under control and organized so I feel so much better!
