Ok.. well thats how scary it felt today. This morning I had my hsg test. To say it was roses and sunshine would be a total lie. Here is a run down on the whole thing, minus the nitty gritty.
First off, this test was at the hospital because of the huge xray machine that had to be used. So I was unsure of these new people I was going to interact with. I did not see my normal doc or nurse or anything. Prepping for the test took more time than the actual test. I had Daniel come with me only to find out that he couldn't stay in the room while the test was going on. I unfortunately read some horror stories yesterday on these tests and how people were doubled over in pain. Fortunately I was not that bad. It just feels like that time of the month and prob will for a few days. So Daniel had to leave once the test was underway and it was over within a few minutes. The xrays came up and it showed that everything was normal, which is good, but still unknown why my body is being the way it is.
Anyways.... after everything was said and done, I about passed out in the restroom. All my emotions got crazy and I started crying. I called for Daniel who helped me and then the nurses wanted me to lay down so I did. I was fine after about 2 minutes but not fine enough to drive so I ended up waiting for another 10-15 minutes until I knew I would be ok. While waiting, Daniel was cracking some jokes, which helped a lot.
All I have to say is that I hope I do not have to do one of those tests again. Now I just wait for my doc to call me to see when to go visit her again.
